One of the founding missions of the CIEN is to promote and advance research into neurodegenerative diseases, aiming to improve the quality of life for the general population and, in particular, for those directly affected. To achieve this, the Foundation offers a range of services provided by various Consultation Units and Research Groups, which are made available to external users of the center
The services offered include a wide range of technologies designed to support both research and diagnostic and prognostic support for Mild Cognitive Impairment (MCI), Alzheimer's disease and other neurodegenerative diseases. The high level of professional training of the researchers and technicians involved in these tasks, combined with the variety of samples in the Tissue Bank or the equipment available in the laboratories, makes it possible to guarantee the highest quality of the services offered.
