The "Cortos Memorables Film Festival" is a film festival and competition dedicated to showcasing and promoting the creation and distribution of short films about Alzheimer's disease and its effects on patients, families, and its social impact.
Organized by the CIEN Foundation of the Alzheimer Center - Queen Sofía Foundation, this international film festival will take place on November 21, 2019, with the goal of raising awareness about Alzheimer's disease and highlighting how it affects various aspects of our lives. Additionally, the short film competition aims to encourage the creation and creativity of audiovisual content that contributes to the dissemination of information about Alzheimer's disease.
Within the Spanish cultural and audiovisual landscape, there are two other festivals that, in some way, address topics related to the brain. From the perspective of the "Cortos Memorables Film Festival," the goal is to emphasize the human aspect of Alzheimer's disease.
