Michel Grothe obtains a grant from the State Research Agency to study neuroimaging biomarkers in neurodegenerative dementias
)
Dr. Michel Grothe, head of the Neuroimaging Platform at the Center for Research on Neurological Diseases (CIEN), has obtained a grant under the State Human Resources Programme of the State Plan for Scientific, Technical and Innovation Research for the period 2024-2027. This funding, granted by the State Research Agency (AEI), is part of the call for early processing for the year 2024 and aims to encourage research consolidation.
The project, entitled ‘Neuroimaging biomarkers specific to different pathologies for the differential diagnosis of neurodegenerative dementias (NEUROIMPAT)’, seeks to develop advanced tools to improve the diagnosis of dementias using neuroimaging techniques. The project has a total budget of 198,198.00 € and will run from 1 April 2025 to 31 March 2027.
This recognition reinforces the research work of Dr. Grothe and the CIEN Neuroimaging Platform team, contributing to the advancement of knowledge and early detection of neurodegenerative diseases.
