The 7th edition of the Memorables Film Festival is already underway and the rules of the competition, dedicated to promoting the creation and dissemination of short films about Alzheimer's disease, its impact on patients and their families, and its social dimension, are now available. Registration is free and is aimed at people living in Spain.
Last Thursday, the festival's image was officially presented with the poster for this new edition, which once again focuses on raising social awareness through audiovisual language. The short films can be fiction or documentary and must be submitted before 30 September 2025, with a maximum duration of 13 minutes. The jury will value both the artistic quality and the message and its ability to raise awareness.
The festival will award €5,000 in prizes: €2,000 for the best short film (Gold Neuronite), €1,500 for the second (Silver Neuronite) and €750 for the third (Bronze Neuronite), as well as awards in categories such as best screenplay, actor, actress, original soundtrack, photography and editing.
The winning short film will also be screened at the Almería International Film Festival (FICAL). The awards gala will be held on 23 October 2025. The complete rules and regulations can now be consulted on our website.
